Will Professor Mysterious fog liquid work in my fog machine?
Professor Mysterious fog machine fluid is a water-based fog fluid that will work in any water-based fog machine. We don't build our own fog machines, so each and every fog fluid and fog scent we produce was developed on another company's fog machine! We have tested our products extensively on fog machines from a wide variety of manufacturers, including American DJ, Chauvet, and others, and have never had any compatibility issues with any water-based fog machine.

All of our Fog Fluid and Fog Scent products are surfactant-free due to the potential risk of allergic reaction and respiratory irritation that surfactants could pose, especially for professional workers exposed to fog for long periods of time.

My Fog Scent appears to have separated a bit in the bottle. Is it still OK to use?
Definitely! Since all of our Fog Fluid and Fog Scent products are surfactant-free, some of the natural scent compounds will separate out. All you have to do is shake it up before adding to the Scent to the Fluid, and you are in the clear. After the Scent is well mixed into the Fluid, separation shouldn’t be an issue as the Fog Fluid acts as a mild emulsifier. However, we still shake our scented fog fluid before we add it to the machine, just in case.
